Let’s begin this Jaaxy review! 🥁
What is Jaaxy?
Jaaxy (still not a band) is a keyword research tool that can be used by an SEO expert, affiliate marketer, or digital marketer.
The tool was founded by Kyle Loudon & Carson Lim from Wealthy Affiliate. It comes with features designed to help you beat your competition, improve affiliate marketing, and increase your website ranking.
Not just that, the Jaaxy keyword tool can pitch in to help you with your next popular blog article and introduce you to unexplored niche ideas. This way, it can help you find the right target audience and market for your keywords.
Where does Jaaxy obtain search and keyword data?
From the three big search engines — Google, Bing, and…

Do you know what that means?
The data you get accounts for a majority of all the search engine traffic there is. So with a single instrument or keyword tool like Jaaxy, you get the power to make your site highly accessible across major search engines.
And that’s just a few hits by Jaaxy. Wait till you hear the whole album! 💿
5 Awesome Things You Can Do With Jaaxy
Here are some advantages of the Jaaxy keyword research tool that’ll surely hit the right note. ♪
1. Simple Keyword Research
If you’re looking for a tool with a good keyword explorer, then look no further than Jaaxy.
The Jaaxy keyword research tool is a powerhouse that helps you discover and target the best keywords in your niche.
How?
You need to enter a seed term or URL into its search tab to get a keyword list full of good keyword options.
After running the keyword search, the Jaaxy platform will generate the search results showing you every low competition keyword according to the SERP (Search Engine Results Page) analysis.
We decided to give this keyword research tool a try by using the seed term ‘music.’
After entering music in the search tab and hitting find keywords, this is what we got:

We saw a list of related keyword results and other crucial keyword data for every keyword.
Here’s a closer look at the keyword data that Jaaxy provides once you do a keyword search:
- Avg: This keyword search metric denotes the average number of monthly searches for each keyword. For example, the average search for the keyword country music radio is 6,407.
- Traffic: This keyword search metric is the estimated monthly traffic your website will get if it makes it on the first page of the search results. For example, the traffic for the keyword music database is 98.
- QSR: Quoted Search Results show the number of competing websites that are ranking for a specific keyword. Basically, this keyword search metric tells you the number of websites using the same keywords in their content.
QSR comes in handy when you’re targeting specific keywords. If your site is still new, a low competition keyword is better for your website, so Jaaxy suggests choosing keywords with a QSR below 400.
- KQI: Keyword Quality Indicator shows how the Jaaxy algorithm rates the keyword or phrase’s quality. It’s color-coordinated where green suggests great keyword choice, yellow indicates normal, and red implies poor keyword quality.
- SEO power: The SEO power is a Jaaxy score based on traffic and competition. This score is based on a scale of 1-100 (the higher the score, the higher the SEO power).
- Domains: The Jaaxy tool lets you look for domain names that match your keyword. It’ll also show their availability for purchase.
2. Get Data On Actual Google Autocomplete Searches
You know how sometimes you can guess the lyrics of a song even though you’ve never heard it just by its music and the previous line sung?

Well, the Jaaxy tool can also make some predictions too by employing Google Instant and Google Autocomplete. They call their feature alphabet soup.
What does it do?
Instead of lyrics, Jaaxy adds letters or words to your keyword starting with different alphabet letters to predict the search terms. Your keyword data is based on real searches that people type into Google.
Why do you need alphabet soup?
The predictions will give you keyword suggestions and more long tail keyword ideas. A long tail keyword is a longer and highly specific keyword phrase that people are more likely to use.
Now, to use this Jaaxy feature, go to the alphabet soup tab under the search tab.

Then type in your seed keyword in the search box and hit Find Keywords. For now, we’re adding the term rock band. 🎸
You’ll see a bunch of results for keyphrase + alphabet.

You’ll also see a bar next to Keyword+. It looks something like this:

Move this bar by clicking anywhere on the blue line to get result combinations of the keyword rock band and phrases or words starting with a letter you prefer.
Anyone else feeling like a DJ moving the bar so much?

The starting alphabet letter is often “a,” but this can vary depending on your keyword and what people usually search for.
For example, in our rock band example, the list begins with “a,” and the first search result is “a rock band.”
Click on search on this next to any keyword phrase you prefer, and Jaaxy will redirect you to the keywords tab under search. Here you’ll see the same metrics found in a regular keyword search in the keyword research feature.

Note: This long tail keywords feature is perfect for affiliate marketing agencies or an affiliate marketer trying to target a specific product or service because users searching for these keyword ideas usually have high buying intent.
3. Brainstorm Your Next Post
Ever sat down to brainstorm a trending blog topic just to end up singing random song lyrics in your head? 🤦
Well, you can continue singing because the Jaaxy brainstorm feature will show you everything you need to know about the keywords dominating your niche.
You can add these trending keyword ideas to your brainstorm queue list, and Jaaxy will take you to the keyword research section of the specific keyword when you click on it. You also have the option to add any keyword to the queue manually.

Since these are trending topics, you’ll see new results and ideas for your niche daily.
To do a good keyword analysis and narrow it down to specific niche ideas, just click on any keyword added to your queue, and you’ll be redirected to the keyword search tab.
4. Find Your Ranking Within the Search Engine
Just like a singer would track their success on the Billboard charts, your SEO team needs to track your keyword rankings within the search engine.
This is where site rank by Jaaxy comes in – this feature helps you analyze your website’s ranking performance.
How do you use site rank?
You’ll spot the site rank tab right next to keywords. Here, you can type in any keyword and URL to generate ranking data.
To help you understand, we’ll enter the keyword music and the URL music.com (a space for artists to tell their stories). Next, hit the search button.
This is the site rank report we got:

The Jaaxy tool carried out an anonymous search to show us the ranking of this URL within the Google search engine. You can always choose another search engine by clicking on Bing or Yahoo.
You can do this for your website to monitor your site’s ranking performance and ensure your Search Engine Optimization efforts are paying off.
However, you can also do this for a competing website to observe how they’re doing and replicate their strategy if they’re ranking higher than you.
The Jaaxy platform also gives you an analysis of how your website has been doing over time and lets you track changes in your keyword ranking data.
5. Beat Your Competition With Search Analysis
The search analysis feature in the Jaaxy keyword tool gives you insight into your competition.
All you need to do is enter a keyword and choose the search engine you want to track (Google, Bing, or Yahoo). The search analysis will show you the results of the first few search engine listings matching your keyword.
To try out the search analysis feature, we entered the keyword songs and selected Google as the search engine.
And here’s the report we got:

Jaaxy unveiled an overview of the Search Engine Results Page (SERP) in regards to your keyword.
But we want to dig a little deeper, right?
Right!
Now, click on view details next to a result to do a deep search analysis. When you do, more information will pop up.

Some crucial data points include:

- Meta description: The small blurb that you see under your website on the SERP containing information about your page.
- Backlinks: Links from one site or page to another.
- Keyword density: The number of times a keyword is used in a webpage or within some content as a ratio or percentage of the overall word count.
- Alexa ranking: A global ranking system that ranks websites in order of popularity. The lower your Alexa ranking, the more popular your website is.
The above search analysis metrics can give you some insight into how you can beat your competitors at their own game.
For example, you can learn how your competitors create their meta descriptions to attract visitors and employ something similar to beat them at their own game.

Next in this Jaaxy review, we’ll discuss the Jaaxy pricing model.

2 Limitations of Jaaxy Keyword Tool
This Jaaxy keyword tool review would be incomplete if we didn’t cover the tool’s limitations, right?
So, here are two major Jaaxy limitations:
1. User Interface Might Be Confusing
Initially, the Jaaxy interface may feel confusing.
For example, the search tab contains multiple other features like search history, keywords, saved lists, etc. Keeping track of where certain features are located and how to use the same features differently can be challenging.
As a result, it might take some time getting used to, but soon you’ll realize it’s not that difficult.
It’s like listening to Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody for the first time – confusing because it sounds like multiple songs in one, but soon you realize it’s actually a bop.

Moreover, the user interface is quite clean and minimalist, so you’ll get the hang of the tool in no time!
2. No Option to Choose Between Global or Local Searches
Unfortunately, there’s no way for you to sort keyword data based on location or country. The data you see is all based on global searches. So if your company needs location-specific Search Engine Optimization, the Jaaxy may not be the tool for you.
However, if you have a local business or marketing company, Jaaxy can help you uncover brilliant local marketing domains using the domain search feature. And having control over these domain assets gives you insight into major local segments in your niche.
Moreover, if you’re a global company, Jaaxy will make you an SEO rockstar with visibility worldwide! 🤘
Is the Jaaxy keyword tool not hitting the right chord?
Not to worry – next, we’ll look at two Jaaxy alternatives that might be music to your ears!
2 Jaaxy Alternatives
Here are two Jaaxy alternatives that you can try out instead:
1. Long Tail Pro
Long Tail Pro is another keyword research tool with numerous features that can boost your SEO efforts.
This keyword tool can help internet marketers find long tail keyword options with high CPC (Cost-Per-Click). This way, marketers can increase their AdSense revenue – the money Google pays you for the ads displayed on your website. The value is based on user clicks and ad impressions.
Additionally, you can use Long Tail Pro’s site audit feature to get your website as fit as a fiddle!
It also provides bulk keyword suggestions, and you can use the competitor analysis feature to analyze your chances of ranking above a competing website in the search engine results.
However, Long Tail Pro doesn’t have a free or trial plan.
Guess, you’ll just have to invest in Long Tail Pro’s paid plan and play it by ear!
2. Google Keyword Planner
Google Keyword Planner is another Jaaxy alternative you can try.
You can use this tool to search for keywords or phrases relevant to your niche, product, or service.
Apart from keyword research, you’ll also get insights into the keywords used in searches by people and how they change with time. Such insights can help you narrow down your keyword list and get your website to rank as high as Ariana Grande’s notes. ♩

Google Keyword Planner also gives you access to key metrics like monthly searches and keyword suggestions.
However, on the downside, you’ll need to create a Google AdWords account to access Google Keyword Planner. And there’s no way for you to observe your site’s keyword ranking.
Is Jaaxy the Right SEO Tool for You?
